For this section, covered completely in re-generating bush with some larger trees, a two-bedroom holiday bach was designed. 

The clients requested a compact, modern and minimalistic design to suit the budget. Due to the thriving mosquito population on the site a Sunroom was designed instead of decks, soaking up the canopy filtered sunlight. 

The Sunroom’s walls and roof are almost entirely glazed, to allow the experience of ‘being in the bush’. A glazed timber screen to the Sunroom wall closest to the road allows for privacy.

The Living Room features a bay window and two big skylights, bringing light and the bush into the space.

Two space efficient bedrooms are positioned along the east side of the house, both with generous windows into the bush.
